Celebrating our 30th anniversary by clinching a mega deal
Date: 23/08/2022As one of the largest law firms in Slovakia, RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS is held in high regard by many. We have been advising the commercial sector for thirty years. Thanks to our previous experiences and the sector-specific track record, we have assisted in many significant investment projects in infrastructure, manufacturing, and corporate transactions. Our latest success involves advice and support in the process of laying the groundwork for the recent mega-investment of the Sweden-based automaker Volvo in Slovakia.
“During our 30 years in the industry, we have advised in the largest transactions since Slovakia has become a sovereign state. From the privatization and restructuring of state-owned monopolies such as the steel producer Východoslovenské železiarne Košice, the gas company Slovenský plynárenský priemysel, and the power producer Slovenské elektrárne to major infrastructure projects such as the e-toll system, highway construction, and the PPP project of constructing a university hospital, or the construction of a new nuclear power plant in Jaslovské Bohunice. Our latest assignment is advising on Volvo’s mega-investment in the east of Slovakia. My associates, whom I consider renowned experts in their respective fields, and I are honoured to be part of these projects,” says JUDr. Jaroslav Ružička, PhD., founding partner of the law firm.
“We have assisted the representatives of the Slovak government during the intense negotiations with the Swedish investor by providing them with comprehensive legal assistance. This success is a symbolic reward to mark the 30th anniversary of our law firm. Jointly with our team of experts, we are looking forward to future challenges,” adds JUDr. Ján Azud, the firm’s partner.
