Ján joined RUŽIČKA AND PARTNERS s.r.o. in 2006 from T-Mobile Slovensko where he was Senior Manager of the Legal Department. Previous positions include that of Compliance Supervisor for Amslico AIG Life. He has been a member of the Slovak Bar Association since 2006.
Ján’s practice focuses on infrastructure projects, PPP and project financing, public procurement, the laws governing electronic communications and general commercial law. Over the years, he has acquired ample experience by participating in major PPP projects and several public procurement proceedings (including project management) on both local and international levels. He is a regular contributor to legal publications and is frequently invited to speak at professional events.
As a partner of the firm, Ján leads the practice in the field of infrastructure projects and public procurement law. Under his leadership, the firm's practice in this area was awarded the prestigious Law Firm of the Year award in the Public Procurement category, seven times in a row, from 2013 to 2019.
From 2013 to 2018, Ján was a member of the Board of the Public Procurement Office, the body deciding on appeals in procurement procedures. Ján is the leading author of the Commentary to the Public Procurement Act published by C.H.Beck in late 2019.
