Public Procurement Act Amended 30 Times. The Winner of the Competition Not Once

Our firm has been honoured as the Law Firm of the Year 2026 in the categories of Public Procurement and Corporate Law, marking our fourteenth consecutive win in public procurement.
During the Law Firm of the Year 2026 gala evening, our firm received awards in two categories. In Public Procurement, we have remained unbeaten since the competition's inception in 2013—fourteen years with fourteen first-place finishes. No other firm in the history of these awards has achieved such a remarkable record in any category. Our second award was in Corporate Law.
Public Procurement: From Legislation to Motorways and Hospitals
Our record-breaking success in public procurement stems from our involvement in some of Slovakia's most significant strategic projects. These include the Nitra–Banská Bystrica expressway, the new terminal at Bratislava Airport, the restoration of the Slovak National Gallery, the reconstruction of Roosevelt Hospital in Banská Bystrica, the football stadium in Košice, and the establishment of Volvo Cars and Jaguar Land Rover in Slovakia.
We support our clients throughout the entire procurement process, starting from preparing tender documentation to representing them before the Public Procurement Office, the European Commission, and the courts. In cases concerning breaches of EU law in this area, we have maintained a 100% success rate when representing Slovakia.

Our second award came in the Corporate Law category. For over 30 years, we have advised clients on corporate reorganizations, ownership structures, executive decision-making, and day-to-day contractual matters, compliance, and disputes.

The Law Firm of the Year competition, organized by EPRAVO Group in cooperation with the weekly TREND, annually evaluates the quality of legal services in Slovakia. Awards in specialized categories were presented on April 21 in Bratislava.
